In this process, Ravindra falls in love with Harika. The case was investigated by ACP Hanumanth Rao, who tries to find the truth behind the murder.
Who committed the murder? Did Ravindra prove Vijay Talwar innocent? Did Harika accept Ravindra’s Proposal?
All these questions are answered in the film.
Review: Ravanasura is a commercial thriller that was intriguing in parts. The movie tries to hook the audience at the start but takes time to find its pace. Initial portions and comedy track with hyper Aadi are okay. The pre-interval portions are good and the first half ends with an interesting twist. When the second half picks up the movie turns interesting but flattens due to an enervated flashback episode and the movie ends up as a routine commercial thriller. Ravi Teja as Ravindra performed well in action episodes but his looks are lousy. Sushanth plays a key role in the film where his efforts are to be noticed. Songs were the biggest letdown for the film but Harsha Vardhan Rameshwar and Bheems Ceciroleo elevated the climax portions with their background score, especially the ‘Ravanasura’ theme. The cinematography by Vijay Karthik and the editing by Navin Nooli are good. Director Sudheer Varma tried to present a crime thriller in the best possible ways but some predictable scenes and unnecessary comedy tracks make the audience feel uncomfortable. Finally ‘Ravanasura’ is an okayish commercial thriller that you can give a try this weekend.
